Bardhaman Super Foods was founded in April 2018 with a deep-rooted passion for food, particularly rice, recognizing the immense potential of the region—India’s rice bowl. Our journey began with the vision to bring the world’s attention to Gobindobhog rice, a heritage grain cultivated for centuries in West Bengal. Despite its rich legacy, Gobindo bhog remained relatively unknown beyond local markets until recent efforts by the West Bengal government earned it a Geographical Indication (GI) tag.
